Since Covid-19 has been declared a pandemic, the government has been advising as many people to avoid going out as much as they can and stay indoors and self isolate in case of any symptoms. It can be intimidating to not having to do much when everything else outside is shut but movies are always what gets us through. So here’s looking at various movies whose plot lines includes virus and dealing with its spread.
1: Outbreak (1995)
Movie focuses on the outbreak of the Ebola-like virus called ‘Motaba’ in Zaire and then in a small town in the United States. It shows unheard sides of military and civil agencies that how they take to control the spread of the virus.There is fact about this film is when the film was released, a real-life outbreak of Ebola virus was occurring in Zaire.
2: 12 Monkeys
It’s the story about a deadly virus released in 1996 which wipes out almost all of humanity, forcing survivors to live underground. A group known as the Army of the Twelve Monkeys is believed to have released the virus.
